Collection: Magnifying Glasses - Low Vision
Reading magnifiers are specially developed magnifying glasses that are used to better see small writing or details. They usually magnify 2x to 6x and have a relatively large field of view due to a large lens diameter. This makes it possible to have a generous and variable distance between the reading magnifier and the head (eyes) with a constant distance between the reading magnifier and the reading material, making it possible to read comfortably.
Modern reading magnifiers are often equipped with lights, spacers or other devices to make reading even easier and more comfortable. There are also special reading stones and reading rods that are placed on the reading material to ensure a fixed distance between the reading material and the lens of the magnifying glass and to prevent the hand from shaking.
