Skin and Nail Care During Chemotherapy
The various treatment methods for cancer can put a lot of strain on the skin, hair and nails. Chemotherapy in particular attacks cells that grow at a similar rate to cancer cells - including skin cells and hair roots. Medications can make the skin more sensitive to sunlight.

With the right care, many skin problems can be alleviated. During treatment, however, the tolerance of many previously used care products changes. It is therefore advisable to switch to dermatologically safe and well-tolerated products. UV protection in creams, powders and nail polish is also particularly important during this phase, as the skin is more sensitive to sunlight.
